Great Value Tent

Nice tent for the money. Set up fast and managed to fit a queen size air mattress. Took my son on a cub scout camp out and had a blast.

The frame poles are too brittle. Even without wind or other excessive forces, the poles snap where they are inserted into the metal sleeves that connect the pole sections. Since I've had to borrow poles from one tent to replace the broken poles of other tents, I am now down to 2 useable tents out of the 4 that I purchased.

Bought this for my daughter for indoor play use. Extremely lightweight and portable, yet very easy to set up within 5 minutes. Plenty of ventilation and light. Sturdy enough to withstand five children climbing in and out and bouncing around inside it all day.

Comments about GigaTent Mt. Liberty 3-Person Tent:

Let me start off by saying this tent is great for the price. It's easy to set up and quite sturdy. I wouldn't sleep more then 2 people in here, there was space for me and my dog and some gear, but after that it's too small.

** Use some tent sealer! ** this tent doesn't leak very bad at all, but should you be stuck in a storm for longer then 4 hours it will start building up. Tent sealer should make this thing just about rainproof. Another problem is because of the small size, it's hard to keep things from touching the sides ( blow-up mattress etc ) so I ended up with good amounts of water coming inside for that reason.

If you don't have things touching the sides this tent is great, and cheap.

this tent is good quality for the cost, as well as being compact for easy travel in car or other vehicle. Moreover, using seem sealer before use is something that I always do, and helps in preventing any water issues that may arise during a strong rain.

Need soft ground for side flys, like the old design better with less screen in the side, but love how much room you get for a smaller square footage.

Comments about GigaTent Mt. Liberty 3-Person Tent:

This tent was very well priced for a 3 man tent. Sets up extremely fast and holds up vs wind. After 5 hours of moderate rain the tent began leaking through the seams about 2/3rds down the tent where the rainfly stops ( of course ). I sealed the rainfly with seam sealer and it was great.. too bad i didn't get the rest of the tent. I would give this tent 5 starts if you seam seal it all and spray it with a water proofer :)

This tent has a great waterproof floor that is easy to sweep out when you break it down. It is well made and designed for easy set up and take down. I have set it up in the dark several times myself. I put my queen size air bed in this tent and it is perfect for me and my girlfriend with room for a cooler and travel bags.
