Comments about FlowerHouse StorageHouse XXXL Storage Shed 9x8x9:

I purchased the storage shed to cover a hot tub in my backyard. I live in a townhouse so I wanted some privacy. This was the most efficient and cost effective solution that I could implement in a timely fashion with the upcoming winter season upon us. The material is heavy duty. The set up is not difficult at all. I did it by myself but I recommend having two people just to make the job go more quickly. I would like more ventilation because the condensation from the hot tub freezes on this inside of the shed. I know this isn't what the shed was intended for but it works for now.

    Leaks

Comments about FlowerHouse StorageHouse XXXL Storage Shed 9x8x9:

Instructions are horrible, a little common sense and it assembles easily.

I purchased this to use as a cheap chicken shelter for the winter. It was set up for about a week before the chickens were using it, I wanted them to get used to seeing it. Before they ever entered it leaked from the roof or walls in a few places after rain, small leaks that puddle on the bottom. I don't know from where and don't care to spend the time to find them; a tarp draped over top took care of the problem. I would have returned it but just couldn't be bothered.

It's a tent and uses the same rods you would find in a tent. It's very sturdy and thick, sham it leaks. I have to recommend it as a cheap alternative to a solid shed. Take a shot, perhaps yours won't leak. The chickens are happy, some roosts, nest boxes, a little food, water, heater (no exposed wires or heating elements) and they are all set for the winter. Oh, I don't zip it up completely on the bottom, the chickens can enter and leave when ever they choose.

This is my second storage shed/tent. The first lasted 3 years before heavy snow (14") broke the some of tent poles. The fabric had ripped in a few places and was probably ready for replacement anyway. While I would prefer a "real" shed, dealing with my HOA and the difference in cost makes this an attractive alternative. If this lasts another 3 years I'll be happy but hope to replace it with a wooden shed.

Comments about FlowerHouse StorageHouse XXXL Storage Shed 9x8x9:

This is now assembled -materials seem strong
The metal structure corners do not fit nicely in reinforced corners- seems like just a little small on tent for structure = am concerned this will shorten life of tent. The metal frame is larger than the tent by about an inch in seems.
Was a royal pain to set up alone - need two people
Directions and diagram could be much better and I plan to create myself a diagram that will actually be helpful for next time I set this up.
I am a life long camper and used to following tent directions.
The directions at times are in accurate due to all three shed directions are included on one b+w sheet of papter.
I plan to use color to illustrate my own directions. I got the largest of the tents.
The smaller ones might not be so difficult alone.
I will have to wait and see how this holds up in the weather before I can recommend or not.
