lemon sage seltzer

there's no alcohol in this fizzy refresher - just cool, sage-infused relaxation

Serves: 8

Ingredients

FOR THE SAGE SIMPLE SYRUP:

  • 4 cups Water
  • 4 cups Sugar
  • 1 bunch Sage

FOR THE LEMONADE:

  • 3 cups Lemon juice
  • 2½ cups Sparkling water
  • 2 bunches Sage sprigs

Preparation

  1. Make the sage simple syrup: Combine water and sugar in a pot and heat over medium heat until sugar dissolves. Add sage and let steep for 30 minutes. Strain and cool before using.
  2. Mix all ingredients for lemonade except sage sprigs with 2½ cups sage simple syrup. Pour lemonade into chilled glasses (with ice if desired) and garnish each glass with a sage sprig.
