I love the pint size bag. It's great when I buy hamburger in bulk and want to repackage it. A pound or 1/2 pound of hamburger fits perfectly without wasting a bunch of bag. Two cups of just about anything fits in it: zucchini, tomatoes, corn, cooked rice, barley. It's the perfect size for my family of three.

This size bag should be used by everyone. The quart bag is great for freezing meal quantity size foods, but the pint is better for leftovers and small quantity foodstuffs that you just don't want to throw away. Like deli meats & cheeses. They don't take up as much room in the refer or pantry and they can be made almost airtight using a straw to suck out the air. They seem to seal much easier than the other sizes.

I use the PINT size to ship dried cherries, nuts, other foodstuff. Often the quart size is just too large. I like the heavy duty condition of the freezer bags. I also use them to pack various lotions or other possible leaky items in my suitcase. These bags are also good for postcards, receipts, address books, etc.
