• Ingredients: Enriched Long Grain Parboiled Rice (Iron Phosphate, Niacin, Thiamine Mononitrate and Folic Acid), Dehydrated Vegetables (Onion, Bell Pepper), Salt, Yeast Extract, Soy Sauce (100% Soybean), Thiamine Hydrochloride, Soybean Oil (TBHQ Added as a Preservative), Paprika, Garlic, Spices, Monosodium Glutamate, Chili Powder, Caramel Color, Silicon Dioxide (Flow Agent).
• Easy stovetop directions: Jambalaya can be prepared with your choice of 1 pound of smoked sausage, chicken (precooked), ham or shrimp cut into bite-size pieces. 1. In a 2-1/2 quart saucepan, combine 3 3/4 cups water, 2 tbsp vegetable oil (optional), bring to boil. 2. Add Zatarain's Jambalaya Mix and meat, return mixture to a boil. 3. Reduce heat, stir, cover and simmer over Low heat for 25 minutes or until most of the water has been absorbed. 4. Remove from heat, let stand 5 minutes. Fluff and serve.
• Microwave Directions: 1. In a 2 1/2 quart microwave safe casserole dish, combine 3-3/4 cups hot water, 2 tbsp vegetable oil (optional), 1 pound of meat and Zatarain's Jambalaya Mix. 2. Cover and cook on High for 25 minutes (cook time may differ depending on the power of the microwave oven.), stirring occasionally. 3. Stir and let stand covered for 5 minutes before serving.
