I purchased this mirror for travel because of its compact design/travel pouch. I did not use the clock/timer but batteries were needed for the light which only half lit most of the time. My major complaint is that the mirror would not stay in adjustment if in the extended position. I would not purchase any item made by this company in the future.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
