We have had manual hose reels and automatic wind reels that use water to rewind the hose. None has worked as easy as this unit. Before I bought it, I read reviews from others that said the hose was hard to pull from the unit. I have no problems with that and I don't even have the unit attached to anything. I love it and just ordered another one for the garage.

I found the unit to be very "nifty!" Just watching the hose recoil back without having to struggle with it was a joy. I have not had it long, so time will tell, but I think that it will be a good purchase.

Extend hose close to 100' when in use and then auto rewind. While it has only been used 3 times, it has worked great so far. Rewind is smooth.

i had a previous reel like this one for 5 years and it worked perfect until i left it outside last winter and the freezing temperatures cracked some of the lighter plastic pieces. I love the power feature as i use a 50 foot hose for our garden frequently.

I use it to sore my hose. It looks great and inconspicuous to say the least. I put it together...the instructions were clear and easy. I was unable to stake it into the dirt because of the placement of the water spout,so I had someone secure it into concrete and I am able to unhook it and store it in the garage for the winter. The self-winding part is great and works like a charm!

I bought one of these hose reels several years ago (it is still working) because I have back problems but love to work in my flowers and yard. So I recently bought another one to put in the front of my yard, I have a big yard. So, when the day is done and I am done working in the garden the last thing I want to do is manually wind up 2 - 100 ft. hoses, I just place my foot on the pedal and presto the hose reels its self in. I tell all my friends about this, they doubt it does this till they see it for them selves. I would highly recommend this to anyone, especially if you are getting older or have some health problems.

I have two - one for the front yard and one for the back - the one I recently bought was for my daughter, a new bride and new homeowner. She bought me the one for my backyard as a Mother's Day present and I loved it so much I bought another for the backyard! Thanks so much!

The auto rewind and hose capacity are the reasons I bought this product.
I actually found this on another web site and with further searching I found
Meijer had the best price. It winds the hose evenly on the reel, holds up to 100 ft. of hose and have used daily for three weeks on a single charge.
