Much more comfortable than the old futon mattresses I was unlucky enough to have to sleep on in college, etc. It is also much more supportive with the spring construction. I have not used it much yet, but it has worked great so far!

I got it as a guest bed and tried it out for a week. I bought this particular mattress because it looked like it would be firm. However, it's not firm for a bed. I think it would be ok to use it as a sofa though.

We were looking for a good supportive futon mattress that could be used as our daughters primary bed without breaking the bank....and that's exactly what we found in this mattress! It's just the right amount of firmness while still having the ability to fold like a futon mattress. We had purchased sheets since it's primarily a bed but the style is actually really nice without them. The price was incredible for what you get!

I son was dying for a futon and we purchased one at Meijer. We bought the foam core mattress originally and soon it started sagging and was not supportive. So after a lot of research and grumpiness from my son, I decided to order the upgraded 9 inch coil-wrapped futon mattress. He LOVES it. It's firm & no more complaining about his back hurting, and he sleeps so much longer. For a futon mattress, we are ALL extremely pleased.

This is well made futon mattress. It is very comfortable to sleep on. My 78 year old father slept on it during a recent stay and said it was comfortable. I've slept on it a couple times also when my granddaughter has spent the night and I slept as well as in my regular bed. It's also become the favorite napping place for one of my cat :) The fabric is sturdy and the color blends in well with almost any decor. I use this on a futon/bunk bed in my spare bedroom which is mostly used by my granddaughter. Good mattress with a reasonable price.

tried the display model. It's comfortable and you can feel the support, but it's still overpriced.
