We have a smallish living area, so we wanted a table that would not overpower the room, and would still give our kids room to play. This table is the perfect size for our space, but be aware that it is smaller than most coffee tables. It works best in front of love seats and smaller scale furniture. We received it within a week of ordering, got an excellent deal on it, and were pleased with its condition -- no nicks, scratches, or missing parts. The drawers are shallow but big enough to hold remotes, magazines, etc. It has also held up so far to kids sitting on it to play video games. I love the side detailing and the bottom shelf. My husband was surprised that it seemed to be mostly real wood -- very substantial piece of furniture!
