Junk and bad Qualtiy Control

    If I could give this a ZERO, I would. Arrived with thumbprints in beige paint on one shelf. There were several scratches and burn marks on two shelves. I don't know what to make of that! The holes on one side of the unit did not match the other side so we could not assemble. The fabric baskets were very cheap. Three of them were torn on the side. The unit was packaged properly so I know there was no chance this was a return...just REALLY bad quality control. When calling Meijer Customer Service to resolve, they allowed us to return to a store BUT didn't seem concerned about the quality. We were told when enough people complain, they would pull the manufacturer. When we suggested they pull their inventory and inspect it, we were told that wouldn't happen. I was so upset that I googled this product to see if it was sold elsewhere with same issues. Ironically, complaints similiar to ours were found on other sites. Shame on me for not doing my homework. My asumption is that Meijer would buy from a reputable source. We love Meijer but have never bought furniture from them before. Think twice before puchasing an online only item.

    Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
