Comments about Wilton Dimensions Giant Decorative Cupcake Pan:

what a LETDOWN!!!! i asked for this Giant Decorative Cupcake Pan for Christmas, but it's a bummer...it would help if, along with the product, or even sold separately, it was possible to purchase Giant Cupcake Paper Liners for the bottom half of the cake, because it looks goofy to Not Frost, and it's dorky to frost, too! part of the fun is to have it look like a GIANT CUPCAKE!!! it TOTALLY DOES NOT as soon as you get any frosting near it...same goes for the top...all those cute little soft-serve ice cream looking swirls get Completely Lost under the icing--Gone. and it was hugely awkward to try to fit the top and the bottom together...the top piece, by your design, which is dumb, is an inch bigger than the bottom, so you either have to use enough ICING to go into a diabetic coma to fill in that awkward gap, or you don't, and the "Giant Cupcake" looks, at best, like a Giant Mushroom---or WORSE---you'll see what i mean if you make it! Plus, i greased the HECK out of the pan, very carefully, and followed the directions to "cool on a wire rack in the pan for 15 minutes", afterwhich i spent 15 minutes trying to coax the cakes out of the pans--both sides came out in pieces--- =( I'm So Sad! Happy New Year.
