With the composter, recycling starts in your own backyard! It has a lid that opens straight up, and stays up, adding your compost material is a breeze. And speaking of breezes, the ThermoQuick composter features lid 'grabbers': 2 on each side panel keep the lid from blowing open.             Overall, I'm very satisfied. However, the interlocking hinges were sort of hard to get locked in place, and in stirring the mulch with a small pitchfork, I managed to pop open one of the corners. In the fall, I'll probably reassemble it and perhaps glue the four corners in place.

            With this sturdy and easy to assemble compost bin you have all you need to start your own mulch and soil for your garden. Just make sure that you aerate it frequently and sprinkle with a little water during dry periods.
