We got this over a year ago and it's still functioning like it was just out of the box. Very impressed with the temperature insulation of the unit. Good storage capacity and the price is pretty reasonable. I'm happy enough wit it to get another as a Christmas gift for my in-laws. Not a complicated product, just plug it in an adjust the temperature as needed.

After two months of operation one of the controll panels went bad and Whynter said I could send the cooler back to the factory or have a new controll board installed at my home and they would reimburse me for the installation. It is very difficult to repackage a 200 pound cooler so I had a new controll panel installed in my home which they said they would reimburse the cost. I have been trying to get the reimbursement since May , 4 1/2 months, and still not paid after several promises.

We've had it one week. The unit looks good and seems like a fair price. Followed all the directions of set-up to a "T" including letting it sit for 24 hours, but I must have a lemon. It runs continuously, is loud, throws a lot of heat and doesn't get to the requested temperature. Based on the positive reviews I read here, I am game for trying a replacement one. Wish me luck that this will be easy to do with Meijer and that I get a good one the next time. I'm calling today.....

This Wine Cooler has 2 different compartments and each has its own thermostat. It looks terrific, sleek and handsome. We did have a problem with the thermostat on one side and I'm glad to say that Meijer stood by its satisfaction guarantee and we now have a new one that works fine. The temperature controls work precisely and each separate compartment has its own light. A great buy, we are more than satisfied.

The only thing negative I have to say about this chiller is that the temperature between the two zones doesn't seem to consistently stay more than 11 degrees apart. We have our whites set at 50 and our reds at 61 and the white tends to fluctuate between 50 & 51 at any given time. We actually used this as an under counter unit even though you're not supposed to & thus far it's working like a charm! After a year or two, I'll update my review if we experience any overheating issues or other cons. For now, Cheers!!

the shelf space only alows some bottle sizes- not enough space between shelves. Shelves need improvement for the price

We love our wine cooler. Great look in the kitchen, it matches our other applicances quite well. Too soon to tell about the temp since it's only been installed a week and it's a cold winter here in Idaho. The summer will be the deciding factor as to how it holds the set temps. My only complaint is that when the wine bottles are on the shelves they are somewhat hard to pull out, especially if the bottles are not a uniform size. Aside from that it is extremely quiet, is a great size for us, and I hope to enjoy it for many years to come.[...]

The cooler was simple to set up and we let it sit for 12 hours before we turned it on as per instructions.
Reds just taste better when they are kept between 58 and 61 degrees.
Cooler looks great at night with blue lights on and is very impressive and a great conversation piece when friends visit.

we drink a lot of wine (both red and white) - the wine fridge came and we immediately set it up, it looks great, seems quiet, the temperature is accurate, the lights make it look really fancy.
