My children are older and do their own laundry. I bought a unit for each of their rooms. The color coded mesh bags work great. A 4th bag would've been nice for delicates, so instead, we put those into the white bag. We use white for whites and delicates, blue for colors, gray for darks. The kids don't roll it around-and I agree with the criticism that it is too flimsy to move from room to room. They take out the bag(s) and carry it to laundry room and dump contents into washer. I'm trying to teach them to launder frequently and not let dirty piles build up - this system helps because the bags are decent size but not huge. The mesh bags allow visibility to see what's in it plus air movement for drying if there is something damp inside. It is flimsy, but has held together better than expected. With younger kids, though, may need reinforcement. I gave it a 4 star for being flimsy and, in my opinion, needing a 4th bag - hence not a totally perfect item - but worth the money in our household. When I broke my foot and was on crutches and had a cast, I had a difficult time carrying a laundry basket! At first my husband tied a rope to the laundry basket so I could drag that to the laundry room...but, that didn't work out so well. So, we bought this and it worked great. I could push it with my body and the wheels would slide it along to the laundry room nicely. Worked out great.

I was nervous about buying this after reading the other reviews, but I bought it anyway, and I'm really pleased! Parts fit together tightly, so the unit has a sturdy feel to it. I like the color-coded bags: I use the blue for darks, the white for lights, and the gray for in-between clothes that can go either way. I don't have any trouble with the bags slipping off the frame--the assembly instructions say to tighten the drawstring after placing the bag on the corners of the frame, and that works great! My laundry room is down in the basement, so the unit isn't getting rolled around any--I collect all the laundry in the hamper upstairs, then bring it down to sort it in this unit. It's working great for me!

I use this product to sort laundry in my small laundry room. The individual bags allow me remove bag and dump contents, rather than stretching down to the bottom -- a far reach for my short arms. This design is much better.

This works well to keep colors sorted but flimsy and can not be moved without falling apart.

Un-sturdy with small bags. Once full it does not roll well. You would need to fill all 3 bags to fill one load of laundry and you do not need to sort for one load.
