Comments about Whistler TS-104 Tire Pressure Monitor System:

1st Off. Kudos to Meijer.com Lowest price I found on the Whistler TS-104 TPMS and it was shipped immediately. Received in just 72hours.
2nd. The Whistler TS-104 is a real value in my opinion.
If you have an older Auto without the standard manufacturer installed TPMS, then this is a great alternative. In some ways it exceeds factory installed TPMS. The unit shows current status of each individual tire. Whichever tire might have a problem you don't have to check all four to figure out which one is alerting a problem. The display is clear and simple. The monitor unit fits in the palm of your hand and I was actually able to place in an open unused slot near my steering wheel dashboard. It is not necessary to keep it plugged into the cigarette lighter since, once charged it has enough juice to run a month or longer.
The tire sensors are about the size of a dime in circumference and only stick out about 3/8inch over the tire cap that was previously used. I have a larger SUV and have had no loss of signal from any tire sensor no matter where I put the monitor unit. I did some basic testing and found little to no-delay in monitor alerting to the specific tire. IE:slow leak, fast leak, overheat.
The monitor also can keep tabs on a fifth(spare) tire however, a fifth sensor is not included and I have not found any info how to purchase a fifth sensor separately. I would though. The tire pressure sensors seem to be within a tolerance of +/- 1.5lbs of true value. Acceptable variance. The monitor is easy to program to custom user preference in about 30-seconds. No brainer.

If you are looking for a easy and as far as I can tell thus far, pretty dependable four tire monitor for your older vehicle. Then I would definitely recommended it. If you can get it, at what I paid, for just a bit over $100 from Meijer.com then I absolutely would not hesitate. Would make a great gift too!
