This is a beautiful hgh quality oil lamp. Solid. Well constructed. Gives good light. Steady even flame. With quality lamp oil burns for hours....easy to adjust flame without having to handle hot lamp..i bought this to replace a gimballed oil lamp that i kept snagging my hair in and eventually banged it with my head...knocking out the glass and breaking it...this is much better in tight quarters...no chance of knocking out the glass...its safe and secure....love it!
