My 14 month son loves this toy! He played with it in the store and wouldn't let us put it back on the shelf! He plays with it daily! Now runs around the house saying vroom vroom and dances with it! He loves to beep the horn! Great toy!!

This toy would be great if the voice on it wasn't so rude. When you honk the horn, is says "Get out of the way!" When you press the gas button, it very rudely commands "I'm out of gas, fill er up!" This is not how I want my son to learn to speak to people. Since VTech touts itself as an "educational" toy company, I would really like to know what it is trying to teach our children.

This was a gift my daughter received at Christmas. She had just leanred to sit up at the time and absolutely LOVES this toy! It is by far her favorite toy. We took it everywhere with us over the holidays - it's not too big that you can't take it with you. It has 3 different sets of songs and talking you can switch on and off. She loves grabbing the wheel and turning it back and fourth and honking the horn. She gets excited when I put it down in front of her. I couldn't ask for anything more in a toy!

i got this for my 10 month old son he was 9months when i got it he loves it so much and it is very very durable b/c he has a 5 year old sister and they fight over it and it gets dropped a lot and still works if u want a good toy for cheep this is it i love v-tech and always will

My twin grandsons love this. They are only 4 1/2 months old and drive grandma all over town. This is the first toy they have truly interacted with and it thrills me too death to watch these chunky monkeys "driving, changing gears and honkin' that horn." Great Toy!!!!

My son who will be 6 months old next month picked this toy out himself the other day. He was so interested in it he was trying to play with it before we even got to the check out. Once home, we opened it up and let him play. He loves it and gets so excited every time he sees it! He steers, honks the horn and uses the shifter. He loves the lights and songs and of course being able to drive! It does a great job at keeping him occupied so I can get things done around the house. It fits perfectly on the highchair or on the floor and it also works sitting on the tray of his exersaucer. It's also small and lightweight enough to take to grandparents yet it's durable enough that when he threw off his highchair, it survived! I love that it has different settings as he grows; music, animals and locations and numbers. The music is also not too loud so it doesn't drive you crazy and it has a few different songs so it doesn't sound like a broken record. I was a little worried once I noticed the steering wheel kind of stops when it reaches the right and left sides because he continues to try and turn it, but it does go further, just takes a bit more effort and it doesn't hurt the toy by doing so. I will most definitely be looking into buying more vtech toys if they are anything like this one!

My daughter just turned 8m and loves this toy. Its bright and busy, but sometimes overwhelming if she's tired. Otherwise, she can play with it for long periods. The only down side is it says "Slow down little FELLA" so I guess its gender bias!

There are plenty of obviously girl-oriented toys, i.e. pink and frilly; too bad if this toy says "slow down little fella"- get yourself a little Barbie jeep steering wheel toy that chastises little girl drivers- there are twice as many girl toys out there and it should not be that difficult to find one as good as this toy is for boys- Oh My Goodness!

My 7 month old received this toy as a gift. At first glance, it looks adorable - steering wheel, flashing lights, learning tools (numbers, shapes, etc.). At first listen, however, it's anything BUT adorable. Some of the phrases are extremely rude and demanding. After beeping the horn, for instance, the toy says, "Out of my way!" An "Excuse me, please" would've been MUCH more educational and appropriate. Another phrase, pertaining to the empty gas tank, says, "Fill it up!" Another rude and demanding command! There is no way my 7 month old (or my 2 year old) will be playing with this toy. Very disappointing.

Don't buy this if you have a GIRL I guess V tech thinks only little boys can have a driving toy? I thought it was a really cute toy till it said Slow down little FELLA! To my daughter. Not cool Vtech
