The VTech CS6229-3 cordless phone with answering system is an expandable cordless phone system that comes equipped with DECT 6.0 technology to deliver excellent sound quality, security, and range. You get interference-free technology for crystal clear conversations that won't interfere with wireless networks and other electronic devices.

With this handset, you can expect the best of VTech features. Among those are a digital answering system with 14 minutes of recording time, handset to handset intercom, easy access volume control, and trilingual menu support.

While this particular phone package comes with 3 handsets, the VTech CS6229-3 can support up to 6 handsets (additional handsets sold separately). With the touch of a button, the handset speakerphone makes handsfree conversation easy.

        We like that it has a recorder because we do not have voice mail. There are three handsets so I don't find myself trying to run to another room to get the phone. They are very small and compact.
