It worked fine for a little over one year and then began to have temperature problems. After only 15 months, it stopped working all together. It was in a perfect location, had the recommended power source (no extention chord ) and was never abused in any way.... this was an extremely disappointing purchase, as this was a gift to a family member

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

    I liked this fridge, but it quit on me after 15 months. This seems pretty common with Vinotemp fridges. The VT-12TEDs has tons of people complaining about this problem on [...]. Really disappointing. I mean come on, a regular fridge can last for 20 years, you can't make one that stays at 55 that will last more than 2?

    Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
