This is a great balance bike for the money. I bought it for my 5 year old who has no interest in his bike with training wheels and he really likes to ride it. It is plenty big enough for an average sized 5 year old, I even had to lower the seat a little for him. In just a few days he is starting to balance on his own. This was a good purchase, I have a younger child who will be able to use this in the future too. Only complaint is that it's hard to adjust the brakes, seems one is always dragging on the wheel, but doesn't affect performance.

My son is an average sized 4 yr old boy. The bike fits well on the lowest seat setting. I wouldn't buy this for a 2 or 3 yr old unless they're legs are long for their age. The brakes aren't great, but also aren't needed much since the bike doesn't have pedals and doesn't get going very fast. The balance bike is a GREAT learning tool. My son picked it up so quick that after a couple weeks he is ready for a pedal bike. bummer that we can't return it, but he still likes riding it since it's new. Plus it did the job. We were just looking for something to get him used to balancing and that's exactly what it did.

I cut seat tube down to minimum height
Reslit tube
put clamp back on

We bought this bike for our 3 year old who is a little above average in weight and height however the seat was too high. Everything else about this bike has been wonderful, well the bell doesn't work well but that's pretty minor. We fashioned a seat out of a t-shirt wrapped in duct tape and that has worked really well. Our son LOVES this bike and rides it everywhere. For the price, you simply can't beat it. It is solid and sturdy and not too heavy. We're very happy.

We bought this for our 3 yr old son he is 41 inches tall and the bike is just an inch or 2 to tall for him. But our 6 year old daughter hopped on it and 1 week later she is riding her own bike with no training wheels!

I couldn't believe the price on this running bike. I have friends with very similar products for their toddlers that they purchased second hand for more money. It seems very sturdy and well put together and it is the perfect height for my just turned 3 year old that is very tall for his age. [...] The only quirks I can think of is that the assembly instructions came in german although it was picture by picture so it wasn't difficult to figure out. Also, the seat isn't hand adjustable, you have to have a wrench to do it. Although, in my opinion that makes it more stable.

We bought this knowing it would work for at least one of our kids. We have a 3 year old and a 5 year old. They both have bikes with training wheels, but neither are ready to take them off. It ended up being a little tall for our 3 year old, but it works for the 5 year old and after a day or two he was zooming all over the place on it. I did a lot of research on balance bikes and this was by far the best value. The only problem we had was that the assembly instructions were not in English. I called the tech support number I found (I think I found it on the sellers website...can't remember) and they were very helpful!

Thank goodness for my husband, or I would have been heartbroken by this purchase. As it is, it's the cutest little thing ever.

I bought this for my 2 1/2 year old. He's small for his age - with a 12 inch inseam. When we got it and put it together, I was really concerned because the lowest the seat can go is 16 inches...

My husband removed the seat entirely and zip tied a piece of round foam to the frame and up the metal that the seat fits into. It's just the right height for my little boy.

As an added bonus, this alteration also made it so we could put a 4 foot piece of pvc pipe down the hole where the seat should have been to help him learn. He only needed it for a couple times.

It's only been a week, and he rides around the block every day. I have to jog to keep up with him!
