Van Camps Pork and Beans in Tomato Sauce - 1 Can (15 oz)
1 Can = 15 oz (425 g); Pork and Beans in Tomato Sauce. High in fiber. 98% Fat free. Cholesterol free. It's no wonder Van Camp's Pork and Beans are America's favorite for families. Back in 1861, Gilbert Van Camp discovered something great when his wife, Hester, added tomato sauce to an old family recipe. Their son, Frank, perfected the taste by slow-cooking premium ingredients to ensure a rich flavor and unparalleled product consistency, and by 1909, Van Camp's was the number one selling pork and bean brand in the United States. Comments about Van Camps Pork and Beans in Tomato Sauce - 1 Can (15 oz):

They start tasting like rust before the best before date gets close. Other brands of canned beans have a nice white lining inside. Do not buy to stock up, they will be bad before you use them.

Comments about Van Camps Pork and Beans in Tomato Sauce - 1 Can (15 oz):

This used to be a good product that I used regularly. However, in the past couple years the quality has declined dramatically. The "sauce" has become so thin it is nothing more than red-colored water. No flavor. It does not coat the beans which are hard and tough. I have complained to the manufacturer (ConAgra) multiple times and have never received a response. They don't care. Avoid this; there are much better bean products out there.
