Since our GPS is 2 yrs old, my husband and I have made several trips the 'old' way: stick it to the windshield (it might fall off if the glass gets too hot), take it down to program because you can't see for the sun, and then again to hide everything when you park the car. I had been searching for a 'reasonably priced' alternative. Since we bought all three of our sons their first GPS systems for Christmas, the search became high powered. When I saw these Dashboard Mounts at Meijer, I bought four at a price normally paid for one. Everyone loves them! The GPS works exactly the same, it's just not the hassle it used to be to use them! Thanks Meijer for a great product at a great price.

    This a great product. When I,m not using the Gps, I put my cell phone there. Also it is easy to move around , so when I leave my car I can put it on the floor, so all those would be thieves wont see that I have a gps.Don't know how I lived without it.

        This mount is great because it doesn't block your view like it would if mounted to windshield. My GPS would fall from the windshield, and I was always frustrated with trying to catch it before it broke. With the beanbag mount it never falls.

          Bought this so that I didn't have to attach my new GPS navigator to the windshield or use a robber-bait adhesive pad that can't be moved.

          I can position it anywhere, and no matter how much the car gets jostled around while driving, this thing has not moved a single millimeter on the dashboard. Perfect!

          I was having some trouble getting the GPS's suction cup to stick. It would stick firmly for a few minutes, then fall off. Cleaning both surfaces with rubbing alcohol seemed to do the trick. Try that before using this product.

              I was skeptical at first because of my own advice to others: "You get what you pay for." In this case: WRONG!! You get at least double what you pay for. The unit is compact and highly functional at a price that is less than half of the big bulky units in stores. Buy yourself a $5 dashboard grip pad and this thing is even more securely anchored than those monster sandbags in stores; and... you are still ahead in bucks, big time. Add to this Meijer's thoughtful return/[...] policy, you know they are not going to send you junk. Product and Meijer...a great combo in a way too often rip-off world.
