It prevents data loss and system downtime by providing battery-supported AC output during brownouts and blackouts. The 12 widely spaced output receptacles can accommodate large transformer plugs without blocking outlets. Six of the outlets provide full battery support and surge suppression for computers, monitors and other vital system components. The other 6 additional outlets with only surge suppression are ideal for printers and other accessories not requiring battery support. So you know when power is running low, audible alarm and front panel LEDs offer status information regarding line and battery power operation.
