Travel Blokus Game
This travel version of the award winning Blokus game is the perfect on-the-go strategy game for two! The simple rules take less than a minute to learn, yet the game has the depth to challenge both beginners and experts alike. Each player chooses a color and works on expanding their color's territory on the board. Each new piece laid down must touch at least one other piece of the same color - but can only be touching at the corners, not along the edges. Players will attempt to blockade each other from expanding, while trying to extend their own territory. The game ends when all players have been blocked from laying down any more pieces. Points are deducted for pieces that were not put into play, and the player with the highest score at the end, wins. Game board measures 7.5" x 7.5". Game comes with board with 196 squares, 42 game pieces in 2 colors, storage tray, and game instructions. For 2 Players, Ages 5 and Up.

Warning: Choking Hazard WARNING: CHOKING HAZARD -- Small parts. Not for children under 3 yrs.

For 2 players, Ages 5 and up

Comments about Travel Blokus Game:

Educationally speaking, it helps young kids develop a better understanding of spatial relations and planning ahead. For older kids it helps to develop various strategy skills.

Unlike most educational games, the rules are simple and once you've played it through one time all your effort can go into strategy. The game doesn't run out of possibilities, every game is different, even if you play with the same people over and over.

As a game enthusiast, it is money well spent.
