They are not the highest quality pair I have ever owned, but exactly what I needed. They are lightweight and easy to port around, so I can take them down to the lake or wherever I want to do some birdwatching. I like to have them while I read in the backyard. I have already spotted some birds I didn't know nested around here!

It is literally like looking through a tube, there's no magnification or field of view.

It would be just as effective, but a lot cheaper, to tape two toilet paper rolls together.

Based on the "original price" I didn't expect Zeiss lenses, but I expected something that would actually work. Instead, these binoculars can only be compared to the yellow pair my son played with had as a toddler.

I snapped these up because the sale price was such a huge discount off the original price, thinking I was getting a great deal. However, these "binoculars" are cheap plastic and no better than my four-year-old's toy binoculars. Very disappointed and have learned my lesson on believing what you read.

            I wouldn't buy these again from a dollar store. They are chinese junk suitable for a costume and that's about it. Cloudy scratched plastic lenses with no focusability, extremely lightweight and flexible plastic construction. It should be against the law to list this with its current MSRP - thats probably for a gross of them!
