    We took our tom tom on a 700 mile trip through 3 states. LOVE THIS HANDY DEVICE! It was the most stress free trip we've ever had. (and we had a 3 year old with us for the first time). It freed me up (co-pilot) to do other things while we drive. The device allows you to check your position on the map and alerts you when your exit is coming up. Best function is the Points of Interest tool. When we needed to find a hotel to stop for the night, just looked at POIs near our destination. Was FABULOUS. I still took our paper map as backup, but found I only referred to it a few times to get a better sense of where we were overall.

    One thing I wish this device did was save a changed route. If you want it to skip a road or detour around something, you have to reprogram each time you turn it on.

    Otherwise, a great GPS and the Price was RIGHT!

                I use this GPS for vacations.
                It's an okay little GPS so far. Got us to Florida! It's a little slow to get what you want after you're halfway someplace, stop and turn it off, then want to turn it on and continue on the same route....it's slow to be able to get that option. And you can't delete recent destinations, either, without deleting ALL of them.
