I have macular degeneration and needed an easy to read watch. The somewhat larger white face with black hands and numerals provide that necessity as I can make out the time. The watch has a date box which I am unable to read and this is a wasted feature. Also, watch has an illuminating face. This cuts into battery life time but more importantly, does not illuminate bright enough for me to pick up the afore mentioned contrast and use feature effectively. It, too, is not needed by me and is a waste. I have spent some time looking for a watch to fit my disability and needs and this was the closest I found. Too many times manufacturers add features to a product thinking they will attract consumer interest and purchase. In truth, the features diminish the products value.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
