This was my first and definitely my last purchase from meijar.com. I started using this bottle around the end of the first week of 2/12. At first it was fine and it did keep liquids hot at least 6 hours. After a couple of weeks daily use, it started to leak. I didn't see anything obvious, but eventually I discovered the white ring on the underside of the screw on lid (at the very top) was missing several pieces. I'm left to wonder what happened to those pieces. I contacted meijar.com by email and have been ignored. No response whatsoever.
And yes, this was washed by hand only.

I purchased my Thermos 5 years ago and have used it every day since purchase. Only a couple of leaks when I have failed to lock the lid, but otherwise, no problems. It is easy to clean, the lid latch still works, has never broken or chipped when dropped, and we have lots of years and lots of miles to go. Coffee stays hot ALL day. Best dollars I've spent in a long time on this little Thermos!

This coffee or cold beverage mug is absolutely the best I've ever used!! Why? It retains truly hot coffee for many,many hours. The snap-open lid is a one-finger operation so easy to use while driving. Moreover, I can close the lid with one finger, place it in my purse and NEVER worry about a leak! The lifetime warranty suites me just fine. I have purchased three: one for tea,one for coffee one for my grandson.

I take this with me in the car every working day. It literally will keep coffee almost too hot to drink for 6 hours (in all kind of weather conditions) if not opened, and even with periodic openings is good for 4 or 5. Some have commented that it leaks. I've found that only happens with my units when they are overfilled, which can be avoided as the fill line is apparent.

This is a product that works BETTER than advertised. Our family has five of them!

I drive daily in my work and like home brewed coffee. This unit will keep coffee blazingly hot for 4 hours and plenty hot for 8. One hand operation, easy to drink from, durable and stylish to boot. Rare these days to find something that works so well. I bought 4 more because anything that works this well is bound to be replaced by something that doesn't! Now if Thermos could only come up with a convenient way to get rid of all that coffee during a day on the road......

I bought this mug over a year ago, and have not had any problems since. The product flaunts the ability to maintain a hot/cold temperature for hours, and definately lives up to it! On one very hot day (100's), there was still ice in the mug 15 hours later. I also have hot coffee waiting for me 8 hours later, even sitting in a cold car.
