Comments about Telebrands Chef Basket Kitchen Tool - As Seen on TV:

I bought this to use as a steamer basket because they didn't have any normal ones at the store. The basket is mesh wire and behaves more like chain mail than a normal steamer basket. This it impractical for softer items because it's difficult for them to hold their shape. The basket is also as deep as the pot I would normally have wanted to use it with - fine if you intended to submerge your food, but not for steaming. As a last insult, after completely destroying my recipe, it's almost impossible to clean beacause of all of the hinges. This is most likely going to end up in my trash bin.
