My 4 year old son was not interested in money at all. Santa brought the cash register and he is crazy for money now! He can identify all of the coins and bills. He can put in coins to match the amount the cash register has told him to make. He loves to play the addition and subtraction games and has learned to use a calculator to help him with the larger sums and differences. My 3 year old daughter has also learned the coin names and amounts and loves to pretend shop as well! The best $30 I have spent in a long time!!!!

The register drawer opens way too hard and coins fly out. I think it is worth the price at Meijer.com. It is 60$ most other places. Although, I am having to go through the trouble of returning it for a new one cause the actual decimal button does not work, how would anyone understand money and coins without a decimal place?! [...] At this point I may just get my money back!

      Comments about Teaching Cash Register:

This is a clever educational toy and it very nice to see how it recognized coins by giving the value and naming the type of coin (penny, dime). It has different levels of addition and subtraction for kids to play with. Overall a very good interactive toy.

Having noticed my granddaughter playing with a similar cash register, I decided to purchase this as a holiday gift and begin to teach her the importance of saving as well as 'looking for a good bargain'. I'm sure she will love it.

All three of my kids have had fun with this (7, 5 & 3 year olds!). They actually play TOGETHER with it! It's quickly becoming my 3-year old's best birthday present! They love the money, the sounds, the ability to pretend with it, and I love that it's teaching them numbers/adding/value of a dollar/and more. GREAT BUY!!!

            Comments about Teaching Cash Register:

Very attractive design. You have to spend some time to figure out how to use it but is not that complicated and definitely will grow with my kid. It is a pretty neat toy. My kid loves to insert the coins, the credit card and the discount cupon and he is learning the names and getting familiar with the coins denominations. This toy has lasting play value is educational and attractive even for adults, they can not resist to play with it. Downside: the balance is not accurate, sometimes the slot machine confuses coin denominations and doesn't include scanner or conveyor belt but after reading several reviews, it seems to be the best cashier out on the market and at the time I got the best price deal on the web from this store.

                Comments about Teaching Cash Register:

We use this cash register almost every day, something about scanning groceries is so fun for a toddler, probably because they only get to witness that from the confines of a grocery cart. My son is getting very good at listening to me tell him what numbers to punch in. This is a great product for number identification. This was the best price I found for this toy.

                  Comments about Teaching Cash Register:

We love this cash register. I purchased it for my son's 3rd birthday, it is his favorite toy. One of his favorite things to do is ring up the items, pay with a credit card and hear the noise it makes when it is connecting. He is learning the names of the coins and dollar amounts. His older sisters love to play with the register as well. It keeps them busy for a long time and is educational as well.

                    Comments about Teaching Cash Register:

My five-year-old was thrilled to get this for Christmas. We use it to help learn concepts of money and math, and I especially enjoy the built in "quizzes" that make learning fun. My three-year-old also loves to play, but mostly just to press the buttons and open and close the cash register. I'm not sure how well it will withstand the test of time, but it's a hot do far!
