- What you need: 1 lb lean ground beef; 1 pkg (8 oz) Kraft Shredded Cheddar Cheese; Chopped lettuce and tomatoes; Breakstone's or Knudsen Sour Cream. 1. Brown meat in large skillet; drain. Add seasoning mix and 3/4 cup water; stir. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to medium-low; simmer, uncovered, 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. 2. Meanwhile, heat taco shells for crispness on baking sheet at 300°F for 3 to 5 minutes or until hot. 3. Serve bowls of seasoned meat, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream and contents of salsa packet. Pass the heated taco shells and let everyone pile on the fun! Makes 6 servings, two tacos each. Chicken tacos: Substitute 1-1/2 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips, for the ground beef. Cook in skillet sprayed with cooking spray until cooked through. Continue as directed.
