    This pan was given the top rating by Cooks Illustrated (the magazine behind PBS America's Test Kitchen). It performed as well as the much more expensive All-Clad brand, but at a budget price. The only negative they gave was that its handle became loose after smashing the pan against the counter 6 times...ok, I'll avoid that. Eggs slip off the pan just like a commercial. Quality construction. Looks expensive. Had a heat indicator that wasn't even advertised that tells when the pan is up to temp for sauteeing. Nice balance for sauteeing and flipping food. [...]

            GREAT:
            Weight; substantial, easy to grip handle; excellent nonstick coating; 12.5 inch diameter at top rim-holds a lot.
            PUZZLING:
            Bottom interior surface seems slightly convex - oil runs to outer edges. Fried egg ran off middle to side. Is slightly bent in on one side as if it had been dropped-doesn't affect performance. I like this pan.

                  I have have heard you should not wash non-stick in dishwasher, ruins the finish. Also, do not use Pam, or other non-stick sprays, as that can also ruin the finish. Heard about this pan in Cooks Illustrated. We are happy with it so far.
