Swing-N-Slide Turbo Tube Slide - Forest Green
The Turbo Tube Slide can be used just as a slide or as a slide and crawl tube. Mounted to a 7' platform, the Turbo Tube Slide is the ultimate in twisting, turning fun. Or, for twice the fun, mount a portion of the slide to a 5' platform and use the other piece as a crawl tube. Constructed of durable plastic. Includes all mounting hardware and fully-illustrated plans. Lumber required: one 2" x 4" x 8' (not included).

Assembly is difficult - many of the holes are not aligned. We have a bi-level home and attached this slide off of our upper deck with a few modifications on install. We've been using it now for nearly a year in the Midwest and it has held up well through all types of weather. Everyone that comes over to our home, adult and child, tries it at least once! My boys love it! Meijer had the best deal at the time (pricing is much higher now - new year or b/c it's summer? -we purchased in Fall) and did a search for coupon codes as well!

I set this up on our new Disney Palisades set off the 5ft level so we didn't use all of the slide sections that were provided. Fortunately the Palisade set had instruction for doing this as the Tube Slide did not tell me which section I should remove or not use.
Overall, it's a nice slide and the kids love it, but it was very hard to put it together. Many of the holes did not line up so it was tough to thread the nuts onto the bolts provided. It would been made a little easier had they provided longer bolts. I can't comment on durability as it's only been up for a few days at this point.

    I looked every where for a slide like this and could not touch it for the price. It is a great addition to my kids play area. It also came with hardware I didn't expect to get, the hardware is to build the tower, BONUS!!

      The ad made this slide look like it came with the platform. We bought this to add on to a swingset we purchased and this slide is the only one pictured with a platform and the description says "Mounted to a 7' platform" and also says that the only wood required is a 2x4x8. So when we got it and there was no platform, we had to make costly adjustments. It cost almost $300 for us to order the wood to build a platform and the whole reason I chose this model was because it appeared to have the platform included. There was a similar model for $100 less.

      Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
