These went up pretty easily, but the instructions were quite vague. We were lucky and our wooden playset had the holes predrilled. They work well, and are very strong.

some comments say these are too long for 4x4, and you can't leave it with 2 inches sticking out on top because the threads don't go the whole way. actually, these are for a 4x6 rail. And they were originally designed for a T-nut (you hammer a T-nut INTO the hole from above, then some threads are actually INSIDE the 4x6. It makes no sense to ship with a hex nut, because these are TOO SHORT! You have to drill a bigger hole from above, so the hex nut is INSIDE the 4x6. Two departments not talking.

this is the only part of my order that arrived. still waiting for the swings so i can't comment on how well they will work but they do appear sturdy and well constructed for small children

The problem with this product is that it is about 6 inches long made for 4x4. The threads on it is about half an inch so there is really no way you can tighten it. The fact that it comes with loc nut makes no sense.

same looking as O.E.M. but threaded rod it too long for a 4X4 need to cut about 1/2" the end and thread the rod longer for the cap part of the hook to be able to be used on the top of the swing arm timber.

A couple swing hangers on the 12 year-old swing set finally wore out. I was concerned about getting the proper parts as replacements, but the new swing hangers were identical to the originals, and were simple to install. The new parts also showed up in less time than we were led to expect. It couldn't have been better.
