The Swing-N-Slide Scout Custom Ready-to-Build Swing Set Kit is especially designed for the do-it-yourself family on a budget. You supply the lumber. Customize this swing beam style outdoor swing set kit with 3 different design options. It's up to you - you lumber and nails/screws and choose your accessories (sold separately). Kit includes: brackets, trapeze bar, 2 belted swing seats, illustrated instructions. For ages 2-10 years.

    We purchased this set for our seven-year-old. We though she would out grow a metal swing set to quickly and wanted something sturdier. We were not willing to pay an outrageous amount for a good solid wood swing set. This worked out perfect. We were able to purchase the lumber and screws for [$]so with the price of this set we were at a very reasonable amount. We put the set together in one afternoon. It took us about two hours. The swing set is perfect. This is the way to go if you are looking for a swing set!

    the lumber for this kit cost around $150. the swings are pretty uncomfortable but will do for a season or perhaps two. had to purchase a new long drill bit to get through the top beam. the kids like it though and that's what matters. mom or dad can swing with kids and it stays sturdy. not sure if it was really worth it to buy all the parts in a kit, but we needed a plan and instructions so that's what we did. would rather have had a set with a slide but didn't want to have to pay $100 to buy slide separately.

      This kit is great! You could not buy an already assembled playset for the amount we spent on the kit and wood combined! The kit only required 70 dollars worth of lumber and only took 4 hours to put together. My kids LOVE it!!! It is a great alternative to "tacky" aluminum sets.

            This was the 1st swing set my husband had ever put together. It was not easy, but that was because he didn't have all the necessary tools. My kids love this swing set! We saved a lot of money buying this kit and our own lumber. The lumber was about $100.
