          This product is good for a 3 or 4 yr old if they are taking gymnastics. It does need parental supervision at that age for flips. These rings are difficult to find without the trapeze bar & I'm glad I found these.

            We had a handyman install eight of these in sequence across the ceiling of our basement for our 8 and 6-year old boys to swing on. It required a hardware adjustment (we removed the long chain), but it works beautifully. The rings are a good size and sturdy.
