      • PICTURE WAS MISLEADING

Comments about Swing-N-Slide Alpine Custom Ready-to-Build Swing Set Kit:

The picture was so beautiful. I bought it read reviews, could not wait for it to come. Then I received a box. No lumber. My daughter was crushed. I saw other pictures, where they just had hardware on a mat. So I was deceived and duped. I lost money on this transaction. I will never buy from them again.[...]. Not interested in doing business with them anymore.

Comments about Swing-N-Slide Alpine Custom Ready-to-Build Swing Set Kit:

We assembled this product with a climbing wall. It was great because we can add a climbing wall instead of the traditional ladder. We can also put a ladder up if we want to. We added a slide. We will be able to add more things to it, which is great. We are planning to add a climbing net, steering wheel, two more different kinds of swings, and a sand box underneath. It doesn't get any better than that! After building it, it is half the price of one that is already put together.

Comments about Swing-N-Slide Alpine Custom Ready-to-Build Swing Set Kit:

In the last 3 years, I went from no grandkids to SIX, all under 12 years old. I like weekend projects and completed this playset in one weekend by myself. Took me about 12 hours total.
Instructions were pretty good, lacked only a few specific measurements. Brackets are heavy duty. Material list was excellent, cutting instructions kept waste to next to nothing. My only cutting/measuring error was a result of an old guy like me trying to read the extremely small print in the insturction manual without reading glasses!

Comments about Swing-N-Slide Alpine Custom Ready-to-Build Swing Set Kit:

Materials list was excellent, kept waste and cuts to a minimum. Print in instruction manual was VERY SMALL, resulting in the only mistake I made cutting the wood! Had to go back and buy one more 2x4 to correct my mistake.

Instructions were sufficient but could have had more detail. For example, when finished, many brackets had holes with no lag screws for them. Do you just leave the holes, or fill in with other screws? Also, specs for spacing of floor and wall would be helpful - had to eyeball them.

Otherwise, very satisfied. Took me about 10 hours to complete all by myself. Quite sturdy, attractive, and will be easy to add-on in the future.

Easy to assemble, my father and I even made a few custom changes without any major issues. Overall took around 10 hours to put it all together. Instructions were clear and easy to understand and the hardware seems to be of good quality. Best of all the kids love it.
