Comments about Super Iron Out Rust Stain Remover - 1 Bottle (30 oz ea):

Until my DIY boyfriend finally finishes the plumbing and puts in a water softening system, I have to deal with cleaning the well water rust stains that plague the kitchen and bathroom sink, toilet and tub. Seriously, just to give you and idea, the tub looks like the Red Planet sometimes. When I have to get down and dirty and do some serous cleaning before company comes over (the only time I get truly serious about it lol), I break out the Super Rust Out Iron Remover. Believe me, I have tried the other two popular brands on the shelf. One of those does have a gel version that works a bit better, but I can hardly ever find it. Even so, one of gel bottles is never enough to get the job done and I just aggravate the carpal tunnel in my wrists big time with all the extra scrubbing I end up having to do. One day I saw the SROIR at a cheaper price and decided to give it whirl. This stuff cleans WAY, WAY better with a WHOLE LOT LESS effort. It comes in granular/powder form so I try to wet the surface area I need to clean first before sprinkling it on and let it sit for a little bit. Before you know it, the rust starts clearing up and you haven't even started scrubbing yet! There is a powerful smell to the product so it's best to open a window or turn on a ventilation fan. Wear some gloves too. It also lasts for 2 or 3 deep cleanings of the bathroom and kitchen sink for me, so the value is super fantastic too. All in all, THE best household rust remover out there.

Comments about Super Iron Out Rust Stain Remover - 1 Bottle (30 oz ea):

I use Super Iron Out in the washing machine occasionally. Towels, linens, and underwear that have turned orange come out white! Just don't use it on printed or colored items unless you're prepared to live with a dramatic transformation. I've also used it to clean sinks and tubs and toilets that have been stained by our well's rusty water.
