Soup Mix - Hot and Sour. Authentic Asian taste. Quick 'n easy.

  • 24 Packets of .88 oz
  • Ingredients: Modified Corn Starch, Natural Flavors (Yeast Extract), Chicken Fat, Monosodium Glutamate, Dehydrated Garlic and Onion, Dehydrated Carrots, Salt, Sugar, Dehydrated Shitake Mushrooms, Dextrose, Soy Sauce Powder [Soy Sauce (Naturally Fermented from Wheat and Soybeans, Salt), Maltodextrin, Caramel Color], Citric Acid, Chives, Spices and Color, Lactose (Milk), Sodium Diacetate. Not More than 2% Silicon Dioxide Added to Prevent Caking.
  • What You Need: 2-1/2 cups water; 1 egg, well beaten; soy sauce (optional). Preparations: 1. Combine soup mix with water in medium-size saucepan. 2. Bring to boil, stirring occasionally. 3. Gradually add egg to boiling soup, stirring gently in one direction. 4. Remove from heat, season with soy sauce if desired. Makes 3 servings, about 1 cup each as prepared above. For a heartier soup, add cooked shredded pork, julienne carrots and bamboo shoots. For hotter flavor, add hot sauce, to taste.

      Use listed proportions, add bamboo shoots, mushrooms,sesame oil, hot pepper oil, tofu shredded chicken. And must add beaten egg last.
      Maybe $$ for what is essentially a soup mix,but the flavor combo is perfect

          Love this product. It is the best hot and sour soup I have found outside of restaurants. And it is better than what a lot of restaurants serve. Very easy to make. Tasty!

          I have it with rice and chicken, typically. Gonna have it tonight!

              I love this soup. Just add a few more ingredients of your choice (tofu, bamboo shoots, water chestnuts, etc) and it easily competes with the soup served at the best Chinese restaurants.
