    Bought this bed for my 80# 13 year old boy. It has moved twice since being assembled, and this bed is not easily torn down and rebuilt. My biggest problem is that the hardware is hidden so you don't realize you're losing pieces -- essential pieces -- until after you start to re-assemble it.

    The other reviewers are right; the screws come loose with even the slightest of use. I find that I am constantly retightening/checking the screws to keep the bed safe.

    Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

    We purchased because it was reasonable however after only a month the beds started to be loose and screws came out. We separated them thinking the kids were being to rough but eventually the panels were coming out and my 4 year old some how dismantled the end of her bed. Mattresses are only supported with several pieces of wood, which we have 1 broken on each bed because they cracked. We invested in a better bunk bed with warranty.

      After only a few weeks of use the screw's came loose, the "wood" cracked when a very small amount of pressure was applied (during use). Cheaply made, very unstable, even when small children are on it.
      Holes for screw's are to big and\or stripped.
      DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

      Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
