This is a wonderful piece of furniture that adds the perfect touch to our pool patio. It was very easy to assemble (took two of us 10 minutes), it is durable, weather resistant (hasn't faded at all in the 4 months we've had it in the Florida sun), holds all of our pool chemicals and pool toys, and is very comfortable to sit on. We have had several comments from friends that it actually looks like it was build from bricks, but it is actually plastic made to look like brick and wood.

The only con we have for this item is that the seat gets very hot in the heat of the day, so we cannot sit on it in our bathing suit in the heat of the day. Other than that it is an excellent addition to our patio, and we are thinking about buying another one.

I have never had a better bench to hide my kids outdoor toys in! However, when I tried to assemble it on my own, I found I could not put it together the way the directions told me to. It took me about a good half an hour and I had to assemble it the way I thought worked best. It would have been better had it not come with directions at all. Besides that, my kids and I love it. Its has a lot of storage space, is very durable and is sturdy as well.

            My bench's right side panel would not seat into the base correctly. I took it apart and inspected both side panels, only to find that a hole was missing in one. I had to drill a 7/8" hole into the side panel. It was obvious that the hole was meant to be there, as the 'pin' in the base needed a receiver, as was the case in all of the connection points. After I drilled the hole it fit together perfectly.

              this was not for kids. It was an inexpensive and attractive alternative to a deck box. I use it for towel storage and seating at my dog training facility. Assembly was easy. I can't attest to how well it will stand the test of time. but I haven't even had time to put the screws in and I find it does just fine without them. Why can everything in life be this easy????

                I bought this item in the fall and will be keeping it packed up until this spring. So we haven't had a chance to play on it however I just wanted to comment now. Step 2 was a great website to buy from and the price was very cheap compared to other sites. They even offered free shipping. The product was even shipped very fast! I will buy from Step 2 again!!! Can't wait for spring to come now!

                  I've been looking for a storage bench for my kids' outdoor toys that were scattered all over the yard. This is a great option for people like me, as it is kid friendly, durable, and functions as seating. The only thing I don't LOVE is that the seat lifts all the way off rather than being connected by hinges. I'm sure his has a functional purpose - easier to load storage - but sometimes the kids open it and then need help getting seat properly adjusted.
