I bought one years ago for my daycare. It has stayed outside everyday since in the harsh mid-west weather. It is still keeping snow and rain out, so I bought one for our grandchild, too.

After assembling this, and putting the water in...the water just poured out through the legs... You would think after spending[$] on this it would atleast be usable. I had to return it because it was pointless. I would not buy.

This is a great thing to have on a sunny day. My kids love playing in it. They are too young to really get it so they mostly just dump the water out so I havent bothered adding sand. But they really like it and I like that it has an umbrella to shade them from the hot sun. It is cute and the cover will be great for storing it during the winter. There were complaints of the legs leaking but ours came with rubber to go over the head of the legs and there are zero leaks.

The sand table is on our deck and our almost 2yr.old uses it almost every day. The water side is easy to drain and clean and there is plenty of room on both sides for her to play.

We purchased this for our granddaughters, ages 1 and 2, at our daughter's suggestion. What a cool design! We can sit in chairs and interact with the girls while they play and create--very convenient. The girls absolutely love it! All the toys--and umbrella--fit in the table with the lid closed.

I did a lot of research before I bought this product as a birthday gift for my 2 year old grandson and all of the positive reviews convinced me. Assembly wasn't difficult,(I followed the picture only directions completely) & it is definitely made easier with an electric screwdriver as you need to pierce the pilot holes in the plastic. The look and quality of the product is great, but after filling one side with sand, I put water into the other side & it just poured out around one of the legs and leaked steadily around the other as well. I contacted customer service and she said she could help me "troubleshoot" She told me to try applying vaseline around the rubber nipples that go on top of the legs before screwing them in & that I should carefully tap the drain hole assembly to make sure it was seated properly. I pointed out to her that this information would have been much more useful BEFORE I had put in the 16 leg screws & filled it with sand & water. Now I need to empty out the sand & disassemble the whole thing. My concern is that the screws will not hold as well because the holes will be stripped. We'll see, but why not put those two steps into the instructions in the first place? The company knows it could be a problem because they had the solution right away. I also agree with other reviewers about the umbrella stabilizer which is scewed on underneath the table. Not very accessible if you want to cover up the table after use. I am very disappointed because I have had good experiences with Step2 products in the past.

My two boys love playing outside with this. It's a good height for my 4 and 3 year old and I like the cover that comes with it.

I purchased this product after reading many reviews for sand and water tables. I have had this for 3 years now. It has been outside for 2 winters and I just replaced the bungee for the second time and used a magic eraser to clean it up and it looks like new! This table is big enough for at least 4 kids to play at once. I usually just fill up both sides with water since the sand and water mix quickly otherwise and it makes quite a mess. I have also used this as a "car" table inside. This holds all our sand and water toys when not in use and I store the umbrella in it as well. I wish the umbrella was adjustable since it rarely shields the table unless it is exactly noon when we are using it. The design must have changed though because I just pop the umbrella in from the top each time. I just wish it had a pivot at the top so it would shade the table in the afternoon. I have not had any problems with the water leaking from either side. I am still happy with this purchase 3 years later!
