I have had this mailbox for over 10 years and last night someone decided to try and move it. They hit it with their car, hard enough to knock it across the driveway and scatter my stones, that I had around it, all over the place. Thanks to the concrete, the 4 x 4 post and the indestructable plastic it will be put back up. There is about a 2 inch dent where the bumper hit it and it did stop the car, before they ran away. Great product.

I have 2 concerns about this product. (1) the front door on some of these are installed crooked. It seems that the holes for the hinge pins are drilled improperly and the door sets at a slight angle on some of these. Need better quality control on this. (2) the bolts for attaching the box to the post are not long enough. By the time you get past the thickness of the plastic you only have about an inch of penatration into the 4X4 post. I would like to see and longer bolt made of stainless and also a larger washer included. As it is, I had to go out and buy upgraded bolts for these units. installations.

    This mail box has lasted well. In an Ontario, Canada, area that gets plenty of snow, the unit has stood up well to the plow. A few years ago, it was vandalized, but a call to the company provided a new flag (for free). We were able to continue to use the door even though it was cracked. Recently, the door refused to stay closed so another call to the company and we now have a new door and magnet, in a very short time. Great service. It's also great to see the unit is made in North America!
