This new slim design looks great and is still large enough to meet your needs. Heavy-duty poly construction is durable, resists vandals, and features a convenient newspaper slot. Mounts to existing or new 4x4 post (not included). Includes address numbers, mounting hardware and post cover. Stone gray (also available in black and spruce). Minimal assembly required.

    A suggestion - The bolts that hold it to the post are a common size and therefore subject to easy theft. Would be nice to have a unique headed bolt and throw in a cheap socket to use for installation. You left competition in the dust!!
    I have only had it one day, so I will really be upset if it leaks, like some have reported!!

    Door hinge too weak

    Several houses in my subdivision have this mailbox, and the door hinge is broken on more then half of the mailboxes.

      After having several mail boxes smashed by vandals we bought the Trimline Plus hoping for better results. While the box and post held up the flag and the door were easily pulled off. Would have been better to stick with the metal boxes; a lot cheaper to replace than this one.

      Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

              I used to have a wood 4x4 post with a mailbox, until the school bus knocked the top of the post off.

              I was able to re-use the 4x4 post stub and mount a Trimline mailbox in about 20 minutes. An elegant repair job.

              Of course, the new mailbox won't stand up to getting hit by the school bus any better than the 4x4 post, but hopefully that won't happen again.

              Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

                I had this mailbox for 2+ years with no problems.Installation was easy & the product works well & doesnt leak.Vandals broke my flag off so I called to buy a replacement & was told they would replace it for free.Now thats Customer Service.

                  Easy to install and it looks great! My old one was held together with Duct tape after the plastic broke when it was cold out. This new system seems extremely durable, and looks great! Def serves it's purpose to a 'T'!

                    bought a floor model as my local store was out of boxed units. I was told floor display units shipped without hardware or numbers. No problem, I remedied that. However I was disappointed that the screw holes in front are left exposed and that you can't come up with some sort of snap-in piece to hide these recessed holes. Otherwise I am very satisfied with the unit

                        We have had this mailbox for approximately 2 years. It was hit by a tree during a svere storm this week. The mailbox was snapped off at the bottom of the post and a tree smashed the box. After removing the tree and the debris I commented to my husband that we would have to get a new mailbox. The next afternoon he had molded it back to its original shape and had it erected on a new post. The flag was broklen so I ordered a replacement and it is as good as new....Amazing!!!!

                        Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
