    Great idea and when it works, my 2 and 3 year olds love it. However, I usually have to push my hand through to get the balls to pop out. Also, the net leans completely over, so much so that my we can't throw the balls into the net.

    We bought this for my 3 year old on his birthday. The few times we have gotten it to work, the kids loved it. Problem is that you are constantly having to work on it because the balls get stuck. Now after just three months and only about five times of play it has completely quit working.

            My son was excited to use this but after a few weeks it didn't work anymore. It was more work to get it to feed the balls than it was to just throw him the ball! The balls don't feed well, the whole thing is fairly noisy, and the net never would stay up straight. I'm glad I bought it at [...], because I was able to return it for a full refund.

            We bought the first one...bought new batteries...it would not turn on!! After trying for quite a while, checking batteries again...still did not work! We took it back to the store and tried another one. The second one turns on occassionally...no consistency therefore frustrating!!
            It is a great idea, but just does not work! We are taking back this second one. We have a very disappointed little boy!!

              This was easy to put together. That's the only good quality about it. It's loud and inconsistent. The balls do not come out consistently or at all. It seems like they get stuck. I spend most of the time trying to get them lined up only to have one come out then wait 5 minutes and nothing happen. Plus it was so loud while on that I felt like I was shouting at my son so he could he hear me over it. We are returning this produc today. Very disappointed.

                Bought this for my 3 year old that is great at baseball. If you keep the machine about 12 feet away it can pitch perfect balls. A little fast but my son was able to hit them. After playing with this for about 20 minutes it stopped working. I thought the brand new batteries died so I went out and bought new ones and it was NOT the batteries. I am going to return it tomorrow and try another one. I think this is a great concept and compact but just very disappointed with the quality if it breaks after 20 minutes of play. I own many Step2 items and have been completely satisfied with them all. This item does not stand up the other Step2 products!

                I will refer it to a friend only if the second one works a lot better!
