This is the greatest toy I have bought! It works great. We put it together, put a towel under it and my 3 year old granddaughter played with it inside...of course it will be moved outside when it is warm enough. It is well constructed. She loves to play in the real sink and this gives her the same feel. We like it so much we have purchased 3.... one for her house, one for my house and she has one for her other Nana's house.

My toddler loves this product. I am happy with the creative idea and overall design of the product, but there are a few obvious things that should be different, especially with a product that cost over $60 with shipping. I was not able to find it in any local stores, so that was my only option. The motor is much too weak and the battery life is ridiculous. My son has a battery-operated vehicle that cost the same amount and has a powerful motor with a rechargeable battery. I would pay $100 for this product if it had a powerful motor that lasted with a strong rechargeable battery. That make an enormous difference with this product. I'm looking at spending $30 on a charger and rechargeable batteries, or paying for the product twice over by the end of summer buying disposable batteries. That does not make me happy, as my son plays with this an hour a day and the batteries are dead EVERY day! I have to empty the water and tip it upside down to change the batteries. Even with brand new top quality Energizer batteries, the motor gets weaker every day. I keep the product very clean and tidy with clean water toys, but it needs a new motor already:-( Sorry to sound harsh, but what panel of idiots tested this product? Great idea, but needs A LOT of work. I have never had such a difficult time with assembly either. The housing around the motor has the smallest screws and the deepest holes. It took forever to get that together.

Comments about Step2 Fun Flow Play Sink:

My daughter received this as a gift because she loves outdoors, water and anything she can make a mess with! LOL! She was excited about playing with it and filling it with water but, the pump just has never worked right. There is one of these at daycare and they had the same issues.I read other reviews of the same issue and replacement parts beings sent and I have not contacted Step 2 for ours yet so, I am looking forward to whether or not I will get a replacement with ease. It is made sturdy for the sink part but, the faucet just is a pain and was difficult for my daughter to press when it WAS working. Now it is just a piece that she gets frustrated at and cries for us to fix and we can't. I would not recommend this item to others if they are wanting a working sink and would recommend a simple water table instead.

I wanted to love this, but it just missed the mark. Ours was so loud and the faucet kept falling out. It came with missing parts, but Step2 was great about sending them right out to us.

Comments about Step2 Fun Flow Play Sink:

The sink is great size and the the idea is fantastic. I ordered mine thinking it was the battery operated model and was so disappointed to find out it was a manual pump. The pump is a joke. If you want just a sink, this is fantastic. If you want a faucet that flows skip this and look somewhere else.

Comments about Step2 Fun Flow Play Sink:

I wanted to write this review because of so many of the negative comments. First, I did not expect to receive this particular toy but due to a misunderstanding with the grandparents, my twin toddlers received this for their 2nd birthday. The twins LOVE playing with water and this is like a giant birdbath for them. They used to almost fit inside it, and would try to crawl in, but now they content themselves with splashing themselves and others with it and washing and dunking their toys inside. This tub is very sturdy and well built (even if I put it together myself), especially in comparison to the other water table they received from an alternate manufacturer. The Other table's legs are wobbly and the tower snapped off as soon as a child pushed on it. This sink, while having less bells and whistles, really feels like it's going to live forever. That said, the pump/faucet on this is a bit of a pain. It takes some strength to push down and so my girls beg a handy adult to stand by and pump it for them continuously. Not my favorite thing to do, but the pump is still working just fine and this is the second season of use. So, if you realize that this is, essentially, a big tub with a hand pump attached then you understand what you're getting. An electric pump would be nice, but since this would add a lot of safety hazards I can see why they did not go with that sort of design.

Comments about Step2 Fun Flow Play Sink:

Loved this table, until the pump broke. I contacted Step 2 and they sent a replacement pump. Within a few uses, it was again not working. They sent another replacement, which again stopped pumping. It now continues to make a loud noise, but no water comes through the faucet. I have given up trying to get the faucet to work. The kids can still use it as a water table, but it is less fun without a working faucet.

Comments about Step2 Fun Flow Play Sink:

When I was assembling this item, I realized that it was missing an important piece so I was unable to finish assembling it. I called customer service and they shipped the part out and the assembly afterwards was pretty easy. However, even before I got the missing part, my daughter wanted to play with it so I did a partial assembly and she was climbing in it and on it and loved it! We haven't put it outside or filled it with water yet but she loved pretending she is washing her dishes or baby dolls in it.

I purchased this product for group play for my childcare group. The children love to float and sink boats, go fishing. I was amazed that the sink has realistic functioning. The children can pump the water up through the sink and are amazed when the water comes out. Three children can play easily at one time. The design is great I personally like the deepness of the sink. Great toy would recommend to others.

Comments about Step2 Fun Flow Play Sink:

I got this for my 2 year-old because she LOVES to play in the sink. She especially loves running water, which is why I chose this. Unfortunately, the pump mechanism is too hard for her to operate (literally it takes too much muscle) and she gets frustrated. So then it's mom standing there pumping the thing for 10 minutes which I don't mind doing sometimes, but can't go on forever. I wish the faucet was operated by means other than a stiff hand pump (i.e. battery) or that at least if you primed it the pump would run for a while as opposed to just pumping one stream like it does. When you consider this sink apart from the faucet it's a pretty good toy: it's sturdy, big, has good accessories, bright colors and was reasonably easy to put together. The one thing it's lacking is a drain in the bottom. you have to tip it over to dump the water, no easy task when it's full. Upon reflection, I wish I'd gotten a sand and water table combo. Since the running water part of this toy is not too useful, it kinda loses what makes it most cool. Maybe an older kid could work the pump easier, but still you have to pump it constantly so then you're not really playing, you're just pumping.
