WE PURCHASED THIS IN MARCH OF 2007. WE HAVE 5 CHILDREN, 3 IN WHICH ARE UNDER THE AGE OF 3. 3,2,&1. LOL! I WAS LOOKING AT TRIPLET STROLLERS, AND I JUST DID NOT WANT ONE OF THOSE! TOO BIG AND TOO EXPENSIVE. WE HAPPENED UPON THIS CHOO CHOO BECAUSE WE WERE PURCHASING THE STEP 2 DOUBLE SWING SWINGSET AND WANTED TO CHECK OUT THE RATINGS. WE ARE SO FORTUNATE TO HAVE FOUND THIS CHOO-CHOO WAGON! I CAN GO GROCERY SHOPPING, TO THE MALL, TO THE LIBRARY, ETC...ALL BY MYSELF! THE KIDS ACTUALLY LOVE TO GET INTO THIS, AND THE BOYS ARE VERY ROWDY, BUT TO DATE I HAVE NOT HAD ONE BIT OF TROUBLE WITH THEM WHILE OUT! THANK GOODNESS FOR THOSE SEATBELTS! WE HAVE TAKEN THIS CAMPING AND TO THE ZOO. WE HAVE A FORD EXPLORER AND IT FITS PERFECTLY IN THE BACK. WE HAVE THE CHOO-CHOO AND 2 "CABOOSES" I HAVE RECOMMENDED THIS TO SEVERAL, AND I KNOW FOR A FACT THAT 2 MOMS HAVE PURCHASED THIS! ONLY ONE OR TWO THINGS WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE WITH THIS SET ...I WISH THAT EVERY BUGGY HAD THE STORAGE AREA....AND MADE DIFFERENT COLOR CHOICES FOR THE CABOOSES. THIS SET IS CHEAPER THAN A DOUBLE STROLLER, AND TRIPLE STROLLER! YOU WILL BE SO HAPPY WITH THIS AND BE SUCH A HIT IN YOUR TOWN...WE HAVE MORE ADULTS ASKING FOR A RIDE THAN OTHER KIDS! LOL!

Let me begin by saying that I'm a six foot six male and the handle is not designed for such individuals. The older models handle worked very well never causing excessive pulling on my shoulder or using it by my fingertips because of its shortness.

Now, let's talk about the assembly of the wagon axles. First, the sadly designed axle holder is worthless, if you're not careful the axle and hub will be put together at an angle. Thus, you must be very careful to initially hammer it straight or you're sunk and in for a rocky bumpy ride. The instructions / diagram is very generalized and takes a lot of humm let me see attitude to put the wagon together correctly.

Putting the wagon in a car is not exactly a simple task. Because of the way the handle is designed it will not collapse against the wagon thus making it impossible to fit in a smaller SUV or sedan, except on its side. If your fortunate to own a Minivan than you'll have no such fit problems except the handle which sticks straight up possibly blocking some drivers rearview vision. As a comparison the older style wagon had no such issues.

With all this said I received a damaged wagon initially which was quickly corrected by Step2, which was the right thing to do. Overall the wagon is a God sent for parents of twins and a wise financial investment.

Comments about Step2 Choo Choo Wagon:

My kids love this wagon! I have a small, in-home daycare and it was simply impossible to go on walks. Now we can get out and about. Everyone in the neighborhood loves seeing us ride by :). It was a little challenging to assemble but once I realized one of the parts was used as a tool instead of a part to the wagon it was pretty simple. I'm planning on buying one more trailer which would make room for 4 kids. Another great thing about this product is that the kids are far enough apart so they can't bother or fight with one another It's surprising not to difficult to pull and navigate! Even when it's parked the kids enjoy climbing in and out of it. I would highly recommend this product.

Comments about Step2 Choo Choo Wagon:

Happy with the wagon. Actually purchased 2. The second one I meant to order the combo (three cars). When I called customer service they wouldn't give me the price difference and wanted to charge me full price for the additional car. I'm very disappointed in the customer service.

Comments about Step2 Choo Choo Wagon:

I got the choo choo wagon on [@]for [$] plus the trailer because someone had bought it for there triplets but at 4 didn't fit in it. It was brand new in packaging we even had to assemble, let me tell you, my kids love this wagon, there is no fighting cause they each have there own seat and if we go out with a friend we have an extra seat for them too, my children are quite small so and 4 and 18 months they fit great but if you have large children they might not fit in it very long. The only thing is it is quite bulky so we have to strap it on top of our toyota corolla to bring it anywhere but that really insn't a problem at all! Overall this is a great wagon if you have 2 or more kiddies to cart around!!

Comments about Step2 Choo Choo Wagon:

I bought this because I have twin 2 yr olds and a 7 mo old....I needed something that i could use to pull all of them at once. And this was great!!! Its perfect for walks and they love it. It was hard to get my 2 yr olds to get and stay in a stroller anymore since they're out growing that stage...but they like to get in the wagon. Not easy to put in a small SUV if the trailer is attached...and theres no way to take it back off easily once you add the trailer on. Would recommend to anyone with anymore than 2 small children. Love it!!

Best Wagon out there...Must have for parent of multiples or for ANYONE with two or three kids!! I have triplets and watch my niece and nephew during the week, Everyone gets their own space..own cupholder... I take an extra trailer even when I only have my 3 for extra storage..balls, jackets, blankets...etc.

I also have other wagons...The safari by step2, and one radio flyer, and one by little tikes....
ALL the STEP2 wagons are very sturdy and durable... I wish I could say that for the other wagons I own...BUT I CANT :)

The Choo-Choo Wagon is easy to use and transport. Kids love having their own little wagon seat. Only one thing I would improve on is I would have doors on each trailer for easier in and out use!

We use this wagon at least twice a day. Our triplets are 17 months, and just love it. They can see everything around them when we go for walks, unlike the triplet stroller, which blocks their view of many things. It's also easier to store and put together then the stroller.
