it is a pretty hat but i was dissapointed when i got it. it does not look like a top hat, looks more like a stetson

    The hat seems durable enough. A few assembly details were not perfect (inner portion of liner was a little loose/crooked).My biggest beef is that the hat is *NOT* made in the USA. For [$] it seemed plausible that it might be. The web listed touted it as US made, but the "Made in India" slip was kind of a give-away.If my son didn't like it so much, I probably would have returned in on principle, but it was a birthday gift and a little hard to ask for it back.

    This hat is an amazing leather top hat made from good thick cow hide and the one we received has NO imperfections in the leather at all. The band is very nice looking but was glued to the hat for some odd reason so if you want to remove it you have to put a little work into getting the glue residue off. The sizing chart is a little off [...]
