      The joint where the upper and lower poles screw together is poorly designed and constructed. The screw threads are on a sleeve that is tacked into the pole. The sleeve is slightly loose so when the poles are assembled, the upper pole with the canopy tilts and moves with the breeze and always looks crooked.

            I thought this umbrella suited my family's needs perfectly, so I spent the additional $20-$30 ( in comparison to others ) on it. This umbrella is HORRIBLE!! The "Solar," lighting does NOT work as shown and doesn't stay upright in ANY umbrella base I have purchased. In addition, it doesn't look pleasing when open. The umbrella almost lays flat when completely open and looks cheap when adjusted down further. Extremely dissatisfied with purchase!
