After getting this dresser home and put together I am very pleasantly surprised. Some warnings, though-- This dresser comes in one large box and is extremely difficult to carry alone, so please use team work.

The bottoms of the drawers are made of a thick cardstock-like material. So, try not to over-stuff the drawers. However, I've filled each drawer to the top and it seems very sturdy anyways, just don't stuff things in it past its limit and you should be fine.

I assembled the dresser on a hardwood floor which resulted in a few scratches. Obviously this was my own mistake, though, so assemble on carpet if you can. Luckily it comes with a marker to cover up the scratches. The assembly will take you some time because you have to repeat many steps 5 times for each drawer, so allow a couple hours for assembly. It's not difficult by any means, just slightly time consuming. Also it comes with little pads for the four bottom corners which help make it really sturdy.

The look of it is really great. The knobs are really stylish and sleek, and the overall shape is great. It looks perfect in the room I have it in and I couldn't be more pleased with it. It's also seems much taller than I expected. I'm about 5ft 7in and the dresser comes up to my chest.

Overall, for the price I am very happy with the purchase. I'd absolutely recommend this product.

We bought this for our teenager. She is very unhappy with the shallow drawers. It came in pieces with nothing assembled. It took my husband almost 3 hours to assemble. We were dissapointed by the time he put the drawers together, it was almost finished. Only then did we realize it was so impractical for us. It would be fine for young children with small clothes.

I purchased this chest for my daughter's room, and she really likes it, even though assembly took a few hours, was very easy instructions to follow. I will be purchasing the matching dresser soon.

Working together, 2 kids and I put this dresser together quickly; the instructions were very easy to follow. It holds plenty of clothing, and looks great in my daughter's bedroom. I am thinking about buying another one.

The dresser looks very nice in my bedroom. I love the look of silver drawer pulls against the black finish. It has helped me with my storage issues. I am looking into additional matching peices. However, it took me a considerable amount of time to assemble. It was not difficult, just time consuming.
